NO ONE CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS: “A STRONG (CHEMICAL) DELUSION AND FALSE PLANETARY SAVIOR”
Natural or un-natural, mind altering substances should be avoided at all cost and used only in case of emergency. Let’s examine why…
99.9% of people who smoke weed do it for pleasure. Having smoked feverishly for decades myself, I intimately know first hand the desire to be high and it’s psychologically addictive nature in using it as coping mechanism and emotional crutch to escape reality. It it so increasingly popular and desired that a public cry for medical legalization is now being pursued as a trojan horse to make it widely and freely available to anyone with even the slightest inability or discomfort to cope with reality.
When any mind altering substance is used (or ab-used) intentionally for pleasure, The Word of God defines this as “pharmakeia” which is greek for “sorcery”, which is a clear abomination to the God, as it all leads to the same end; inebriation of the mind, unknowingly leaving it vulnerable to seductive & deceitful spirits (1 Timothy 4:1) who appear as an “angels of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14) telling us, “All is well with God”, as we blindly welcome the subtle, deceitful Kundalini serpentine spirit to snake it way into our minds and cloud our spirits, counterfeiting the true Holy Spirit of God (2 Corinthians 11:4), and blind us (2 Corinthians 4:4) to the vital Truth that saves our souls (John 14:6). This is why God commands us to be led alone by the Holy Spirit, who is only imparted through Christ who alone is the Way, the Truth and the Life, the only possible path to God, and to “Be of sober mind, for your adversary the Devil walketh about seeking whom he may devour.”
Any intentional mind alteration is the unconscious attempt to “break back into paradise” from which we fell. But the entrance is forbidden, and blocked (Genesis 3:24). Only through the narrow gate of Christ alone may we regain access to God and again walk with Him in the cool of the day, as Adam once did, prior to his own parking of a mind altering substance that was forbidden for his own well being and resulted in his spiritual death, fall from paradise and fellowship with God. Anything attempt to re-enter other than through Christ is simply a diabolical counterfeit that only leads away from God.

God indeed made marijuana. But not to be abused. God is the creator and designer of Natural Law, and builds in penalties when those laws are broken. Not every natural substance is beneficial. Many are toxic, and even deadly. As an example, God also makes poison ivy, uranium, snake venom, etc.
When a flame is applied to marijuana and the burning smoke is inhaled (cough), not only is this an unnatural misuse and abuse that is not as God intended, but allows this “counterfeit holy spirit” to enter the mind, telling it’s users “You need me, I am the Truth, you like the way I make you feel, I shift your emotions and bend reality, improving it, so trust me, worship me, and I will guide you in all “Truth”, besides, there are ever increasing multitudes who love mentally fornicating with me, how could so many be wrong?”
Eventually this addictive mindset often takes over one’s own spirit and blinds it, saying, “Relax man, it’s all good, there is no absolutes truth, only subjective personal truths that we are all free to self-define. All that Bible nonsense is just a big lie to morally control you (Genesis 3:1), telling you there is a single, sovereign Creator who has rules, sets boundaries and enforces them (even though those laws are for our own well-being). There is no authority but yourself. After all, ye are gods and goddesses (Genesis 3:5), so enjoy, and I will help you celebrate your divinity and self-empowerment as our elevated egos masquerade as humility (2 Timothy 3:5) and worship at the alter of creation rather than at the feet of of it’s Creator. Oh what fun we will have dancing our way back into The Garden to the beat of our own drum! If it feels good, do it!” (Proverbs 14:12)
This quickly becomes a psychologically addictive coping mechanism and emotional crutch of escapism, for many to lean on. Anything But Christ (ABC), which is why it cripples it’s worshippers into a spiritually arrested state of development who reject and rebel against the Holy Spirit that can ONLY be received through submission to Jesus Christ God Almighty.
In short, it is “ANTI” Christ. A tool of Satan, who masquerades as an “Angel of Light” to blind (2 Corinthians 4:4) those who make spiritual and mental fornication with it.
Pay close attention to this next time you inhale that smoke.
“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.” ~2 Corinthians 4:4

He will use every kind of evil deception (including mind altering substances) to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the Truth (Jesus Christ) that would save them. So God will send them strong delusion, causing them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies. Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth.” ~2 Thessalonians 9-12
God’s a hand’s off creator, if you aepcct the existence of an entity powerful enough to create the universe (not saying you do), you also have to see a place for the miraculous to happen in this (because why shouldn’t it). Now I completely aepcct, that a lot of what we have called and continue to call miracles could simply be things that science can’t yet explain. But I do also believe that super-natural miracles are possible (not very modern and rational I know). Just far, far less frequently than many Christians would have it (see points above about God sticking his oar in). And I don’t pretend to have any sense of the whys and wherefores of these. God moves in mysterious ways, as U2 nearly sang.6. Another thing to bear in mind, is that nowhere in the bible is there a promise of a cushy life. Tho some Christians pitch the ‘join us and everything will be a bed of roses’ message, I don’t subscribe to that. And think it’s a false claim not sure it would get past the spiritual BACC. What it does say though, is that you will find purpose and fulfillment (if there is a God who created the universe, and you’re in community with him, why wouldn’t that be so) whatever that might mean. It won’t necessarily be easy though. And shit will still happen. 7. Finally, if you aepcct the existence of God and the spiritual, you also have to consider the possibility of a personified ‘evil’. The Devil if you like. Now it could be (and I’m not sure myself) that this is simply a metaphor for describing some of the points above. Equally though, the horned one may well really exist (tho probably without the horns). Which I guess is a nice and easy get out for all the evil and bad stuff if you’re looking for one.IS YOUR AD BRILLIANTNow, it’s obviously hard for me to say as I haven’t seen it. But really, this one is far too easy you’ll have to try harder if you want to catch me out. Millward Brown, as all planners know, are the spawn of Satan (who may or may not be a metaphor), the Great Deceiver. But the short answer is God doesn’t do advertising, PR, interviews on Richard & Judy or Big Brother appearances. He doesn’t deal in certainty, he wants faith. And if does turn up, it will be in a very good disguise (see Palestinian carpenters cum political activists). On that basis, the evidence you want probably won’t be coming I’m afraid! Which may well make you a fundamentalist again! Me, on the other I will happily stop believing when science (which we all agree can answer all the answerable questions) categorically disproves God’s existence. Which clearly makes me an open minded free thinker 😉
