WILL THE REAL JESUS PLEASE STAND UP?

WILL THE REAL JESUS PLEASE STAND UP?

The world’s definition of “love” is a politically correct, tolerant, ecumenical, “hippie” sort of love that calls evil good, good evil, that sacrifices the truth that set souls free on the alter of “love”. A love which desires to be thought well of by others, a love that turns it’s head in the face of error & evil, a love that is too far too “kind” to warn of danger ahead, and even seeks to silence any such voice.

The hippies of the 60’s idolized this sort of “love. Their mantra was “Peace & Love”. And this kind of worldly, ecumenical “love” has increasingly made it’s way into professing Christendom, slipped in as a wolf in SHEEP clothing in the name of “love”, allowing the world to define love FOR them. And the church has swallowed it, hook, line and sinker.

Such love is anti-Christ. And as an ex-New Age hippie of 25 years, I can spot it a mile away.

“Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. I know that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.” ~Acts 20:28-29

“If the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn’t sound the alarm to warn the people, he is responsible for their captivity. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman responsible for their deaths.” ~Ezekiel 33:6

Jesus had a habit of making shocking statements. He got under people’s skin and basically poked them in the eye. Why? For shock value? Perhaps. But even more so, to WAKE PEOPLE UP. And what was the result? Hatred & crucifixion. And he KNEW he was walking straight into the jaws of death, and did so without self-preservation.

For example…

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” ~Matthew 10:34:39.

Hippies and even most who profess Christ find it hard to believe Jesus actually said such things, as well as other statements, which only goes to prove they have concocted another version of “Jesus” in their minds, the kind of Jesus who is far too loving & nice to ever get nailed to a cross. The world loves and leaves that kind of “Jesus” alone. He is welcome in their churches and preached from their pulpits. The true Jesus would not be welcome in the vast majority of today’s churches, but would be accused of be unloving and un-Christlike.

We also don’t tend to think of Jesus as calling people names, but listen to how He reacted to the religious leaders of his day; “You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matt 12:34) and “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?” (Matt 23:33)

Jesus told them what they were, and was justified in doing so, because they were just as he described them. This wasn’t sin, because we know that Jesus was sinless. He was telling them what they were, and the Jews clearly knew what the vipers or snakes represented…Satan! Can you imagine going up to a group of priests or ministers today and telling them, “You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell” or “Sons of Satan”??

Unloving? Un-Christlike?

You decide.

Who IS your “Jesus” exactly?

“If ministers preached the same message ministers preach today, he would have never been crucified.” ~Leonard Ravenhill
