WHY PEOPLE BELIEVE JESUS IS GOD
Essentially so they can remain in sin. Because if Jesus isn’t a man as we are, we have no hope of emulating him, “waking even as he walked”, living the rest of our lives free of sin. The true Jesus, saves FROM sin, not IN sin, who cleanses us of all unrighteousness through forsaking of all sin (repentance), and then following his human example, as the Way, the Truth & the Life.
Jesus said whosever sins IS the servant of sin. Paul said if we yield ourselves to sin, we ARE the servant of sin. John, who wrote heavily against the Gnostics, said, “He that commits sin IS of the Devil”.
Gnostics believed man is born sinful, and can never be free of all sin until death when we leave our “evil” bodies, as they believed flesh is evil.
Sound familiar?
John called the Gnostics deceivers & antichrists.
Many say Jesus didn’t sin because he is “divine” or somehow bypassed this Gnostic “sinful nature” by means of a virgin. They use “Jesus is God” as their excuse to live in sin.
Which means if man is born sinful, either Jesus was also born sinful, or he was not born as a fully human man, also a descendant of Adam, Son of David, and Son of Man, made & tempted in ALL points as we are… in the flesh, which John calls the spirit of antichrist.
Simply put, making Jesus God or a hypostatic “Godman” hybrid who superhumanly and divinely overcame sin IS antichrist as it denies he was made as man, just we are.
The biblical test to identify a spirit of antichrist can be reduced to simple questions like “Is man born sinful?” or “Do we sin because we are sinners or are we sinners because we sin?”, or quite simply, “Is Jesus God Almighty Himself?”
Hence why Trinity & Oneness are doctrines of devils & traditions of men devised to leave man deceived IN his sins by keeping man blind to WHO God & His Son are, as it’s a different “Jesus” AND different “God”, who who man has no hope of following.
In other words, to believe such is to simply believe the same old repackaged ancient lie of the Devil, we can remain in sin and God will still accept us, that…
“YE WILL NOT SURELY DIE.”
